Extended Health Plans:

A referral is not required for you to be assessed and treated by a physiotherapist.
Some Extended Health Plans require a doctor’s referral for you to be reimbursed. We recommend that you contact your employer or health plan insurance company. Clients that are not using an Extended Health Plan (paying out of pocket) do not require a doctor’s referral.

Green Shield: Direct Billing

At West Side Physiotherapy, we provide direct billing for clients with Green Shield plans. A referral for Physiotherapy is not required for billing to Green Shield. A doctor’s referral is required for Massage Therapy and Custom Foot Orthotics with this insurance company.

Great-West Life: Direct Billing

We also provide direct billing for clients using the Great-West Life. This allows members to have their claim submitted in a secure and convenient method. Direct billing also reduces the need for plan members to pay up front and submit paper or electronic claims for reimbursement.

Payment Options:

Payment for services can be made with cash, cheque, VISA, Master Card and debit. We ask that payment be made for services on a weekly basis. A receipt of payment, with your physiotherapist’s name and registration number, will be provided for you to submit to your health plan for reimbursement.

OHIP coverage is not available.
